CCO Haul!

Hi everyone! So this past weekend, I went to the CCO to check out some MAC eyeshadows, because I only have a couple of them, and I really wanted some more! So here are some pictures of what I picked up:

 And I also picked up a pigment in Universal Mix. I don't understand why this pigment gets such a bad rap on MUA. I really loved the color! I think it's perfect for highlighting, and for the inner corner of your eyes.

And this week, I got my package from Kathy! I bought the MAC venomous villains mineralized eyeshadows from her! Thanks for the MAC eyeshadows Kathy! And thanks for the extras! I will be sending you something real soon! :)

I decided that I wouldn't spend any more money on makeup until IMATS. This will help me save up money for buying makeup at IMATS. I've always wanted to try the OCC lip tars, so this year, I'm going to go to IMATS, and purchase a lot of makeup! Haha. Anyone wants to try this makeup ban with me? :)

MAC peacocky haul!

Hey everyone! So today, I went to my local nordstrom counter, and picked up 2 items from the MAC peacocky collection! There wasn't that many products that interested me, seeing as how for this collection, the only items that were launched were lip products, and eyeshadows. I had seen swatches on temptalia.com, and I was super tempted to pick up a kissable lipcolour. They just look very nice!

So I picked up one kissable lipcolour in so vain! It's a very pretty looking coral like color! I'm in love with this color! I'm thinking about picking up woo me! They just look amazing, when applied on my lips. Sorry, the picture is blurry, I couldn't take the picture without it being blurry!

I also picked up one eyeshadow, and it's a brown eyeshadow, called centre stage. I had originally went to pick up sexpectations, but it just didn't look as appealing to me, as this color looked! There was another color, Peek at you, and I thought it looked nice, but I wanted to try this shadow out before I bought any more.

This is what the shadow looks like. Sorry there are no swatches, I haven't had time to play with this shadow yet! But I will let you guys know, what I think about it, after I play with it!

And that is all for my MAC peacocky haul! I have to admit the lipcolour is amazing! I am really loving it! The next thing I have to do, is test it out, and see if it lasts for a while. Usually when I apply lipsticks or whatever to my lips, it rubs off in half an hour, give or take. So I'm really hoping that this lipcolour will last just a little bit longer!

Another Haul!!!

Hi everyone! So today, I have another haul! I know, again??!! Well I love buying products! What can I say? I'm a crazy shopper! 

The first thing I picked up Saturday was Maybelline Fit me! foundations! These are amazing, and I'm going to be doing a review on these very soon! Not sure if you can tell if 230 is a little more yellow toned, and 235 is a little bit more brown toned. These are only available at Walmart, as far as I know. I went to CVS, and they don't have them right now. I'm assuming that's why they are having the whole 50-75% off sale, to make room for more new items. 

Totally loving this foundation! Please, go check out walmart if you want to purchase these foundations! Picture taken without flash. 

Another item, I picked up while at walmart, was the equate eye makeup remover. They only had this one, not the one I've been using. This one is comparable to the Loreal eye makeup remover.

I don't know if you can tell, but the newer version is smaller than the old one! I don't know, if it's because I bought the one on the right at a different walmart, or whatever, but it's a completely different formula! The one on the right, you have to shake it up, to get the formula to clean your eye area, while the one on the left, is just regular. 

Another item I picked up from Walmart, are these St. Ives skincare items! I picked up the apricot scrub, and  the makeup remover and facial cleanser. I debated if I wanted to pick up the green tea cleanser and scrub, but then I saw that it has salicylic acid in it, and I decided against it. I am allergic to salicylic acid. The apricot scrub has 2% in it, but I only use it every other day, so it doesn't cause my face to get super red.

I picked up 3 candles from walmart too! :) I recently just started burning candles, at the end of last year, and I love the smell they give off. I bought lavender, sweet pea, and fresh cotton! I started burning lavender on sunday, and it's still burning! 

 I also picked up a lavender room spray! It smells so amazing! 

I went to the MAC store today, but they were so busy, that I couldn't ask the sales people any questions! So then afterwards, I went to nordstrom, and I asked them if they still had the Fix+, and they did! YAY! By the way, the MAC store at my mall didn't have any more of this fix+. 

 Are you seeing a pattern? I've loving anything lavender! Haha! 

And I went to the body shop, and I picked up the tea tree travel set! I wanted to try out some of their products, before purchasing the full sized items! I really loved a couple of the products I picked up at the end of 2009, that I had to pick up more of their products! 

 Damn plastic inside of the makeup bag was so hard to take out, I basically put a dent in it! 

And this is what the mini sized items look like! So far, I've tried all the tea tree items, and I really do love it! I will be doing a review on these as well! :) 

Anyway, so that's my haul! I did pick up a MAC foundation, but since there are probably tons of pictures of foundations, I didn't want to take a picture, and I'm lazy!

Tomorrow, I'm going to nordstrom to check out the peacocky collection! (It already released on MAC's website, and on Nordstrom.com!) Is anyone interested in this collection? What are you going to pick up, if you are going? :) 

First Mac store visit!

Hi everyone! Today was an interesting day for me! I woke up around 12pm, because I'm trying to get into my friday night work mode. It sucks that I have to work late at night! Haha, but it's ok. As long as my manager comes on time tomorrow morning, I think I'm good.

Anyway, my boyfriend and I went to BonChon in LA! And I got the soy garlic chicken! And omg it was so amazing and good. Sorry I don't have any pictures of my food, as soon as it came, I ate it all up! I hadn't eaten anything since yesterday! Haha.

After that went to the Cerritos mall, and guess what? They are going to open a restaurant called KyoChon! Which I think is the same thing as BonChon! I told my boyfriend when we were at BonChon that if they had something like this near where I lived, I would probably eat it everyday! And they are opening something like it, so I will probably eat here every week! :)

After that I went to the Coach store to pick up my free pencils! And they are super cute!
After going to the coach store, I actually went to the Mac store! *GASP* I know huh? I never go there, because I think they have more heavier makeup, because it's more like costume makeup. But anyway, after watching Holly Ann Ae-Ree's video's Quick & Simple Golden Green Light Eye Look, I decided to purchase some of the colors that she used. I love Holly, her makeup is always very gorgeous looking. Haha. So these are some of the colors that I purchased:

I also got Mac foundation because everyone has a certain color in Mac, and I was like, why don't I have that too? Haha! So I purchased their foundation, and their lipliner, because I don't own a lipliner.

I also got in the mail the other day, my 24 count brushes! And don't they look beautiful? My boyfriend saw them, and he was like, why haven't you cleaned them? They look dirty! And I was like, "No silly! They come with brown tips!"
I said I was going to take a couple pictures of my hair, but it feels hot, and sticky, and on top of that I'm going to go to work soon, and I don't want to have to put my hair up, after straigtening it. I will totally try to take pictures of my hair tomorrow, because I think I'm going to be free tomorrow! :)

And another thing before I take off, I won Mihoko Party Look Request! She had a contest from June to July on facebook, and the prize was $60 credit to Mihokofamily.com! I am still shocked, and super happy! :)

KATE EYESHADOWS!

I've been buying a lot of stuff left and right. I think if my boyfriend found out that I was buying so much stuff, I think he would get very mad at me. Haha. But it's okay, since it's my money that I'm spending and not his. Anyway, today was the gilt women's final sale. I woke up around 9AM to look at it, and everything was alright. I didn't see anything that really caught my eye. I was looking at twenty8twelve, but everything that was really pretty and nice was already taken! So sad! :(

So yesterday I decided to play dress up with my Marc Jacobs clothes that I got in last week. I love big belts, so of course I was trying some of my clothes with different items!
So today, I got my Kate gel eyeshadows in! They are so pretty! I don't want to touch them, or mess them up. OH well, I used them anyway! Haha! I purchased these off ebay, since they are cheaper on there, than any other place I've looked at them for. The place that I purchased them, said that they won't be getting in a shipment of these eyeshadows for another 2 weeks, but feel free to check them out anyway, here! :) And since they are located in California the shipping only took two days! So happy!

When the package came in, I just got home from work, so I simply ripped it open! This is what it looked like after I ripped open the packaging!

The BR-1, and BR-2 look very alike. I can't even tell them apart. I thought that maybe one would be really dark, and the other one really light. So if your looking to purchase brown, just pick one or the other. I don't think it really matters. The shadows really really feel like jell-o! It's very crazy, because it's kind of hard to get them on the applicator, and I was trying very hard! The swatches from left to right: PU-1, GY-1, BR-1, BG-1, GD-1, BR-2. I applied the GY-1 first, then I added a bit of BR-1 to the end of my upper eyeline, and then I applied GD-1 to the bottom my my eye. It makes my eyelashes shimmery too. :)

What I look like with my makeup on. Well just the eyeshadows, and my lipgloss. I look so orange! That's because I took this picture in my bathroom, my room doesn't get good lighting, because I have this curtain, and I'm lazy to open it. Haha. My lips in my new lipgloss. I got this Mac hello kitty lipgloss and a Mac eyeliner pencil in yesterday! It's because my Sephora Piink eyeliner is running out, and it was the best eyeliner I've ever had. :( I haven't had a chance to try this eyeliner out. It's way too pretty for me to mess with it!

I was digging around my mom's closet today, looking for old retro things to wear. She had some super cute belts, that I will be posting pictures up probably tomorrow! Some of them are very unique. She has this awesome blue snake skin belt! And I remember seeing it as a child. I think I glued some glitter on it at some point. But that's the point of having vintage things. Haha.

Yesterday, I purchased a bunch of pop beauty items and they should be coming in sometime next week?? Haha. And I will do my Jill Stuart jelly shadow compare, probably sometime next week, because the shadow hasn't shipped in yet. XP Anyway, hope you guys have an awesome day, and I will posting more stuff that I purchased soon!
