FOTD, NOTD, and Swatches!

Hi everyone! How was your week? Mines was alright. I filled my week with work, work and more work! Haha.
So last weekend, my boyfriend and I went to a friend's house for their child's birthday party! We ate lots of tacos, and my boyfriend randomly ended up in the bounce house with about 10 kids jumping on him! He was scared when this big kid slapped him on the shoulder! But it was really fun nevertheless! So here are some post pictures of my makeup.

Top from forever21. Necklace from D<3T Charms, and bracelet from forever21. :)
Yes, I won that huge banana! He is the coolest banana ever!

At the party. My boyfriend chowing down on some awesome carne asada tacos!
Look at that food! Nom, nom, nom!
 I like his funny expressions!
This is what my nail of the day looked like! I love this glitter nail polish! It's very pretty!
What the tips of my nails looked like.
So this week I recieved a package from UPS. and I was like hmmmm... What could it be?? And so then I read the label in which it said where it came from, and guess what it is!!!
It is my very own Silk'n Sensepil! I won this hair removing device from facebook, in late April! I was super excited when it finally made it's way to my house! I thought maybe the UPS guy lost it, or something. I haven't used it yet, but I will let you guys know how it works out when I do use it!

So this past week, I've been purchasing some small items here and there. So the first thing I picked up is this NYX lipgloss in whipped. This is amazing lipgloss. It's not so sheer, and it lasts a while on my lips. I'm totally loving this lipgloss! And I got the gloss for a whopping $2.50! That is way cheaper than the NYX store online! :) The second thing my boyfriend bought for me is the Wet'n wild lipstick in Think Pink.

With flash.
 Without flash.
This is a swatch of think pink. I think it's an alright color. It seems kind of difficult to apply to my lips because the formula is really thick, and it's like this super pigmented pale pink. Also I don't like the container it comes in, it feels cheap, because it's plastic, and the lipstick has already started to hit the sides of the container. I think I like this lipstick better when I put a coat of lip gloss on it.
NYX's lip gloss in Whipped. It's a amazingly not so sheer color, that lasts long on my lips.
This is what NYX looks like on my lips.
Anyway, hope everyone is having a good weekend so far! This weekend, I'm going to party it up! I have some other posts and videos lined up, so please stay tuned for those! :D

Short update, Smokey eye tutorial

Hi everyone! I haven't been doing much, I've just been going to school, and working the last couple of days. My manager at work, is no longer there for some strange reason. Oh well. Anyway, so since my manager hasn't been there, we had an assistant manager there, who I worked with just this past summer, and he's really great.

And he's actually given me a couple more work days, so I might not be able to post as much as I've been doing in the past couple of weeks. But I want to let everyone know that I'm still much in love with makeup and fashion.

Anyway, Here is a picture of how I did my makeup today! It's just a really simple smoky eye look/megan fox inspired look that I did. I got a little bit of eyeshadow on my face, can you see where it's at? Lol.

And I'm still recording on my old camera because my new one has not come in yet! I'm hoping that it will come in before this weekend, because I'm actually going to be doing a lot of stuff this weekend, and I want to share it with you guys! :D

By the way, I've switched channels on youtube. My new channel is going to be here, while my old one is going to be my personal vlog channel. These two channels will both be linked on my sidebar so that way you guys can still check it out, and watch both channels!

And by the way, I just want to let everyone know, I got the Revlon Photo Ready foundation! I'm wearing it in the video and in my pictures! It's a pretty good foundation. I've already done a review on it via video, but I'm not sure I'm going to upload it because I'm still using my old camera, and I want to get my new one in, so I can show you guys what it really looks like. And my old camera still blurs in and out of focus!

And don't forget that the Formspring is still on the sidebar, so please feel free to ask me anything!

Have a great weekend!
XO

New Buys

Hi everyone! So this past week I started school. And it's good to be back in school, but I kind of wished that break was a little longer! Anyway, yesterday was the first day I went to my pharmacy internship class, and it was a little scary! My teacher kept saying things like, "When you get to your site, they are going to grade you!" And I started to freak out a little. But it's like a good kind of freaking out. It's a cross between happy and crazy! Haha.

If you haven't seen it already, just want to mention that on the sidebar I have a poll asking people what they want to see on my blog. Please vote, so that way I can get a better insight to what you want to see!

And here are the Maybelline eyestudio quads that I bought. I actually got six of them from online.
And the blue palette I got in, was already broken! It made me really really sad! :( I put the white shadow into a little container so I can use it and keep it. A close up of pink persuasion.
Here are some pictures of magazines, with the Maybelline eyestudio quads! (I don't know how to use my scanner!)
And here are some pictures that I took of myself today! I used the Maybelline gold quad on my eyes! Even though you can't really see it, because the picture makes me look super pale! That's all for me now! Hope everyone has a good weekend! I'm going to be doing a giveaway soon! Hopefully sometime next week! :)

EOTD and blush

Hi everyone! I know I haven't really made any makeup related posts in the last couple of days. And the reason for that, is because I'm so lazy when I leave the house now! I don't wear any makeup anymore, because all I do is go to school, and work. And everyone at school already knows what I look like! But I do on occasion put on makeup, if it's for something special, or I'm going somewhere.

But I did a look today, and it has to do with Twilight! Yes, my favorite movie! :) I'm going to go watch the movie when it comes out in November! Are you? :) And this is the makeup I'm going to be wearing when I go!

This is the look that I did with my 120 count palette! It actually goes from light to dark inward towards outward!
My eye. My camera is not on flash, it's just because it's bright.
And this is my RMK blush, that I haven't shown you guys yet! The color is JE-03 Cherry. And here are the swatches of the blushes! I know, I take forever huh? Well the one on the left is the MT-03 Strawberry Pink and the one on the right is JE-03 Cherry. I don't know why my picture is blurry... I'm thinking of selling the MT-03 Strawberry Pink one, because I don't really use it, and I've only used it just to swatch it this one time... Would you guys be interested in buying some makeup items that have only been used once from me?

Anyway, since I cannot stand using my old phone (I don't like it at all! It doesn't all the full effects of a PDA phone) I decided last night to buy a sciphone i68+. It's pretty much an iphone, but with more awesome features. You can put dual sim cards into it, and it also has an FM radio on it. I don't think the iphone has FM radio, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, I'm going to wait for it to ship to me, within the next week or so! So excited.

I've been spending more money on technology than makeup recently! Haha.

Eyeshadows, Shu Uemura, FOTD

So last Saturday I got my 120 count eyeshadow palette in, and 35 of them were broken! And the shipping took 2 weeks! It made me so mad! I emailed the person, and told them that my eyeshadow palette was broken. And they said that they would refund me. So everything is alright. I ordered another palette, but not from the same person, because they obviously cannot seem to package items correctly. I ordered it from my regular person, and I paid about 4 dollars more, which doesn't seem like much, but to me it is. Anyway, after I received the palette, I tried cleaning it up a little. But it was still a little messy. Lesson learned? Never purchase anything from Hong Kong! They have horrible shipping and no tracking, and it comes in broken! Here are some pictures of the broken palette:

I took a very small spoon, and scooped the broken shadows out, and placed them into tiny containers, so they are still useable! I love these colors because they are very pigmented, so they stay on, and they don't rub off! That was the reason why I purchased this palette.

What the palette looks like, when cleaned down, and the shadows put into little containers.
And here is my makeup collection, with the shadows in their own little containers. Don't they look cute? Haha. Anyway, I said I was going to do a Coffret D'or FOTD with my palette didn't I? Well I didn't get to do it yesterday, because when I got home there was a package waiting for me, from Sephora. And when I got it, I honestly could not remember purchasing anything from Sephora! I was kind of having a panic attack, but I got over it quickly, and opened the package, and guess who purchased something for me? My friend Christine! I was so surprised! But she bought me the Shu Uemura eyelash curler, because I was saying that mines isn't that good! So yay! Christine, if your reading this, Thank you!!! :)

This is the eyelash curler that she bought for me! :) I love it! It actually makes my eyelashes super curly! My other one from Target doesn't do anything.
This is my FOTD with my Coffret D'or palette in 05! I love the way it makes my eyes look. I was talking to my boyfriend when I took these pictures. He insisted that we talk on the phone. And when I told him, I tried my Coffret D'or palette, and I loved it, he demanded that I take pictures and send them to him via email! :)

And everyone has been asking me about Miracle Times America in San Gabriel, just to let you guys all know, it's not an online store and pick up. It's a small makeup boutique, I guess you can call it. And they have all sorts of very gorgeous Japanese makeup. I didn't get the name of the lady who helped me, but she was very friendly, and nice. She even helped me apply my makeup, and she wasn't rude like some people from Nordstrom. If you guys have any more questions about Miracle Times America, please let me know, either by emailing me or asking me via c-box! :)

Anyway, I'm going to go take a shower right now. I had a looooong day at work today! Haha, I will for sure post tomorrow, because tomorrow is my day off, I traded tomorrow off, for Sunday off!

Long lashes, Coffret D'or, and Pa nail polish!

Hi everyone! I know I said I was going to post about the vintage belts, that I stole from my mom, but I didn't like any of the pictures that I took with the belts. :( So I will try to do that one tomorrow! Sorry, if you were excited for my fashion post. Anyway, so today, I tried to make my lashes super long with mascara and black eyeliner.

1. I curl my eyelashes first.
2. Then what I do is I prime my eyelashes up with smashbox mascara primer.
3. Then I place my top coat of smashbox mascara on. A couple of swipes of mascara will be fine. I try to layer it on, so that way, the mascara will make my lashes look longer.
4. After that I place a clear coat of mascara with my Sephora Piink mascara. (For some reason, they don't sell this product at Sephora anymore??! They use to have a lot of their products, but not anymore)

Sometimes I use this trick on my lower lashes, I put an index card up to my lashes and I put the mascara on that way, you can see the mascara and what you are doing to it. My skin tone is dark, so I can't really see what progess I'm getting at, without an index card.

Lipgloss used: Philosophy in Kiss me.

And then your done! I don't have any pictures of the products I've used, because I'm lazy! Haha. I'm also thinking about doing a video with this look, because it's really helpful for people who want really long lashes. So should I? Haha.

So earlier today, (since it's already 4 in the morning) my parents decided to go to Rowling heights to get my brother's teeth fixed up. He recently got his wisdom teeth pulled out last week (ouch!) and I guess the dentist sewed up the back of his mouth, so that way the wound would heal correctly. When we were heading there, we hit so much traffic it was horrible! We drove past, and I think some people got into a car accident. My dad was all like, "Look at all those kids! Their the ones who are wreaking cars!" And I just sat in the back with my mp3 player in my ears. Haha.

Anyway so this is a picture of my parents in the front of the car.
The dentist's office. It's super nice and clean in there. Even though I hate going to the dentist!
After the dentist, we went to go eat at this little food court. And the place we were eating at didn't have any water, so I went across the food court and picked up some mango green tea! YUMMY! (Even though afterwards, I was regretting drinking so much tea, I had to go pee like 5 times at work!)
Before we actually started eating, I went to check out Takashima, it's this little store run by Chinese people. They were all super nice and sweet! The sales people were all very friendly, and at the end they even gave me a VIP card!
I picked up a Coffret D'or eyeshadow palette, in 05.
And some Pa nail polish! Because I love their nail polish! This one is glittery with circles!
There is no pictures of food, because as soon as the food came, everyone was eating like maniacs, except for my dad. He's a slow eater, but my mom, brother and me were eating like there was no tomorrow! Haha. Until next time, probably later today!
