More armswag and other stuff

Just a little recap of my week in picture format. I'm going to be posting more fashion related posts after this weekend, I have to edit pictures, and make sure they come out okay. By the way, I love dessert, and the hunger games. I actually watched the movie the weekend it came out, but I just recently just finished the first book, can't wait to read book 2 and book 3.

Thank you to everyone who commented on my last post, I'm going to try to post more.

FOOD! :)

Hey everyone! I've been super tired the last week or so. I've been working more than usual, which means that I don't really want to do anything other than go on my computer when I get home, and read some articles, or, wikipedia, or watch music videos on youtube. :P

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that I am alive. And I got some more sigma brushes. I will be doing a comparison on them to my other sigma brushes, after I find my camera. (Note: I found my camera, will be doing the video/post real soon!)

So I wanted to do a quick post telling you girls out there, that eating healthy is always a great thing! One of my new year's resolutions is to eat better this year! I did pretty good last year, but it didn't help when my boyfriend wanted to go eat Korean BBQ basically every week for the last 3 months of the year!

So I'm going to be documenting what I eat on this blog! (Or should I make a new blog, for my food posts?)

Okay, so the first thing I ate yesterday was I had 2 yogurts. And then for lunch I had a guacamole. I put some spices in it, some tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. I also drank water. Water is what I drink most of the time. Once in a while I will indulge in juice, but that's very rare for me. And I never drink soda, unless the boyfriend buys it, and he doesn't get me a drink. I only sip his soda less than 3 times and then I don't drink it at all.

Whenever I cook anything, I rarely measure anything, unless I'm baking or I'm at work making stuff. Haha. Anyway I just throw a bunch of random spices in my guacamole.

And today for lunch I decided I wanted something different. I still have avocados, but I needed to change it up so I made tuna salsa. Tuna salsa is the best ever! It's like a mix between tuna salad, and salsa! So basically the recipe has: 1 can tuna, light or low fat mayonaisse, relish, a tiny bit of mustard, and if you want you can throw in veggies like I did. I put in 2 thick slices of tomatoes diced, and a little bit of onions. You can add anything else you want. Cilantro, lettuce, whatever you want! And this is another recipe that I just throw things in there, so there is no logic to the way I make food.

I mostly drink water, or water with honey and lemon in it. And I paired up my tuna salsa with tortilla chips. And of course yogurt. I have 2 of them, and I've already eaten one!

If you want to follow me on my food postings, you can always friend me on facebook! I usually upload all of the food I make on facebook! My name is: Denysia Yu on facebook. I don't have a specific address, because I never got a URL for facebook. :P

Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed my quick food post.

And I will be back possibly this weekend to do the comparison of the sigma brushes! :)

Random Wednesday post

Hi everyone! So lately, I've been kind of busy. But over the past couple of weeks, I've acquired a lot of different pictures that I haven't uploaded at all. Not even on facebook! So I decided I would upload some of them here!

These first two pictures were taken I think in October, and we went to little Tokyo, to look for costumes for halloween. And this is what we saw when we were leaving! The buildings were covered by the clouds! I thought this was a cool picture!

And lately, I've been addicted to making food! So I made a quick turkey covered in gravy sandwich with red onions! It was sandwiched between an english muffin! And it was so good! I really love cooking!

Next up, I've been trying to experiment with nail polish colors, and this one is MAC's matte nail polish in Black Enough. With flash:
Without flash:
And I tried out Michelle Phan's Lolita style tutorial. Even though it didn't look like her's as much! Lol.
And the other day a couple friends from high school, and I met up to go eat some sushi! We went to a local sushi place. I don't have any pictures of any of the food, since when it came, we dug in! So yummy! :) Next time, I will take lots of pictures of the food! I always forget to! D'oh!
And last but not least! Here is my Secret Santa package from Sheila's secret santa event! I'm not allowed to open it till Christmas! But I've been super tempted! Haha. I've put it away in the corner of my room, till Christmas comes around!
That's it for my random weekly post! I will try to do these once a week!
By the way, tomorrow I will launching a new giveaway! So keep your eyes open for that! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Well this year they have a lot more amazing events, and I found one close enough to me that I'm probably going to go there this year! I'm planning on going Sunday, let's hope I don't have work!

If anyone else is going to be attending, please let me know in the comment section below, so I can know! And if anyone wants to meet up, feel free to comment too! I always try to meet up with fellow bloggers!
And now I'm going to leave you with a picture of my frozen hot chocolate similar to Serendipity's in Las Vegas! With a bonus recipe! :)
(I wish I had a clear cup, so I could show you guys what it looked like from the side, but I didn't have one big enough! ARGH!)

Random Monday post

Hi everyone! I'm trying to stay consistent on my blogging! I haven't made a video on youtube for a while, and it's not because I don't want to, it's because every time I record a video, and I start editing, I don't like how everything looks. I don't know, whats wrong with me. Anyway this is going to be a quick recap of what I've been doing recently.

So Friday was black Friday, and I love shopping, so I stopped by my local mall and tried to grab some deals. And this is what the mall looked like around 11:30pm. Right before midnight! There were tons of people waiting for their favorite stores to open. It was madness. Well it was midnight madness.
Then when I was there I picked up a couple things from forever21. I'm going to edit the video of my black Friday haul real soon. The only reason I don't want to edit it is because I don't have any makeup on, because I went to the mall 2 times on Friday. I know, weird huh? The reason why I went back to the mall, was because the lines were so long when I went there at midnight, that I didn't want to stand in 4 or 5 different stores, waiting for a cash register to be open. So I went back to the mall around 10am, and I shopped, until I was sick of the mall.

Anyway, so after I went to the mall the second time, I went to Guess, and I saw these super cute shoes! I wanted to get them, since they were having a 60% off sale, on all sale items. But m y credit card said no! Haha. So I ended up not getting them. But don't they look cute?? They were on sale for $119 but in addition to the 60% off the total would have been $47.60!
And basically this past week, my brother came home, and he has been eating all the food in the house, whenever he feels like, which kind of annoys me. So I've come up with super easy recipes that I can eat. Below, I made a really easy egg salad muffin! Complete with cheese! Unfortunately, we don't have any more English muffins at my house, so I can't make any more of these.

And I've been craving noodles for a while now! So I made some super simple noodles. All you need is noodles, soy sauce, sesame oil, and any other spices you might want to throw in! And that's it! I love making simple food!
So recently the sun has been setting super early! Like around 4:30! It's insane. I don't think the sun set this early last year. I don't know, but it's kind of annoying, because I usually like to go for a walk around 4pm, and this totally disturbs my walking schedule. And since I'm so lazy and I hate getting up early, (Thank goodness, I work in the afternoons) this whole sun setting thing is getting on my nerves! I've asked my boyfriend to get me a visor extender for my scion tC, but all he says, is you don't need it. But now that the sun is setting so early, the sun gets in my eyes and around 3:30pm. So I'm going to bug him, until he gives in.

So on Saturday, my friend and I went to the Thrift store to see if we could get any good deals. I got a couple of items, but I'm just going to show you the items that I really really like! The first item, that I got that I'm really loving, is this sunflower candle. It smells so good, and the sunflower shape is also great!
Sorry if my pictures look blurry. I took a majority of these pictures with my phone. I planned on taking them with my camera, but at the moment, my camera is in my purse, and I'm too lazy to get it! Haha. So the second item, I really like, is this tiny tea cup. If you've ever drunk Chinese tea, you will know that we have small cups. I don't know why that is. But this little cup reminds me of a shot glass. Haha.
The last thing I wanted to show you guys, was this skirt on katespade.com. I was browsing her website, because my mom recently bought a Kate Spade handbag. And I was looking at some of her clearance clothes, and I came upon this adorable skirt! It's such a great skirt, with the ribbon and everything, wouldn't you agree?
I thought this skirt was kind of cute too. I love it when you match bright colored tights to such a neutral outfit.
And that is it for me. I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving, and stuffed themselves till they were too full! Haha, I know I did! :)

Vegas part 1!

Hey everyone! I'm officially back from my vacation! I'm really excited to show you guys all the stuff we did, and the stuff that I bought! I'm actually going to split the vacation posts into separate posts.

So the first thing we did Wednesday morning, was we stopped by the Original Pancake House, which is a really good pancake place! Every time I go there, I want to get the huge pancake, but I never do! I always get the blueberry pancakes! Haha.

Original Pancake House

1418 E Lincoln Ave
Anaheim, CA 92805

Boyfriend likes hot sauce! And I love ketchup!
The pancakes looked super good! And they tasted really good too! This is my plate! I have to have eggs!
Boyfriend always get the Canadian bacon, and he doesn't realize that it's just ham! Haha!
Too bad the boyfriend didn't finish his chocolate chip pancakes! I would have, if I wasn't already so full!
We drove to Vegas, and I didn't take that many pictures when we went there. There's not much to see, other than desert! Haha. This guy looked funny, with his mustache.
Boyfriend said that if this car could make it, we could make it too!
This Del Taco sign looked cool, it says that it's located next to the world's largest thermometer.
And this is when we were pretty close to Vegas, but still pretty far!!!
When we were driving around to the outlets, boyfriend saw this place, and he thought it was cool, but it wasn't what he thought it was. It was a furniture and home decor mall!
This structure looked weird, but cool!
We went to the Premium outlets, which by the way, I love! Everything there is nice, and the stores are amazingly good! I told the boyfriend to take a picture of me outside of the CCO, but he didn't get the sign in!
We were driving around, and we found Chinatown, in Vegas! Of course they have to have a Volcano tea! And of course the boyfriend has to buy 6 milk teas, before the end of the trip!
Haha, they have a Sam Woo BBQ in Vegas! :)
And of course a 99 Ranch! That's where we went to pick up some cough drops for me. By the way, in case you guys were wondering, I was sick when we went! I was coughing, and still am.
We went to the regular outlets, and my boyfriend thought that this picture was so cool, so he wanted to take a picture of it!
After the first day, in Vegas, we decided to go to Ellis Island, which is a awesome restaurant, for people who want to save money!

Ellis Island Casino & Brewery

Las Vegas, NV 89109

I got the $6.99 steak special, and they gave me a beer for free with the meal! Boyfriend was super excited. Haha.

My steak, potato, and green peas! It was so much, I couldn't finish it all! Ughhh... makes me sad, that I couldn't finish my meal!
Boyfriend got the steak and shrimp meal!
When we were driving back, I took a picture of the Bally's sign, because it looked cool!
Then we were driving down the street, and we saw these ladies who were dressed like police cops, handing out flyers!
That's all for day one! I will be posting more in the next couple of days! The only reason, I'm doing these posts separately, is because I think it would be such a crazy long post if I combine all of the pictures into one.
