I'm so picky that it's quite ridiculous.

So I painted my nails last week. I don't usually paint my finger nails, because I find that when I doing random things around the office, or at home, my nails have a tendency to chip, even if I put 2 layers of top coat. Which is why I paint my nails on the weekend, and then it lasts all weekend, and come Monday, when it's time for work, I just simply take it off.

Essie's Really Red:
Excuse my messy desk. I was having one of those days.
This is by far my favorite polish for the summer. It's bright and vibrant, and it only takes 2 coats to have a nice layer. I'm wearing this on my toes right now. I've actually just been reapplying it on my toes for the last couple of weeks.

I remember when I first bought this polish at TJ Maxx for a mere $2.80! But now I get it for $3 without tax. Which is still not bad, considering that Ulta and Target sell this sucker for $7.79 to $8. Love love love this polish! Get this at Ulta, or at Target, I usually get mines at this tiny little nail supply shop in Westminster.

By the way, there are only 3 more days to enter my Apothica giveaway!!! :)

NOTD OPI's Plank's A Lot and Deborah Lippmann's Boom Boom Pow

Purple is slowly becoming one of my favorite summer colors! Next to red of course! I did a quick NOTD to show you how much I love this OPI color. I usually don't like the consistency with OPI polishes, seeing as how a lot of them are very streaky with two coat, but this polish looks amazing, with two coats.

Planks A lot on my nails:

New nail colors!

Hi everyone! If you know me, you know, I love painting my nails! I love painting them different colors every once in a while! And I don't like paying a lot for nail polish. The most I will pay is $10 for a nail polish. That doesn't mean that once in a while, I won't try to get a high end polish. I love trying and experimenting with new colors!

The one I tried is going to be Revlon's Perplex. It's a gorgeous purple nail polish! It is an identical to Chanel's Paradoxal. I personally don't own Chanel's high end nail polish, but I'm thinking about picking it up, and trying to compare the two of them! But until then, here are some pictures of perplex.

Basically this is two coats, with no top coat. I was being lazy and I didn't want to put a top coat on my nails. Haha.
The next color, I picked up was Stormy. The reason why I picked up this color was because CVS was having a BOGO 50% off. So I had to pick up another color!
This is such an amazing brown taupe like color! I'm totally in love with this color! I really love it!
So I recently got a package from bornprettystore.com! I have already done a video which I show how to use one of the items, and I kind of go over everything very quickly. I will be putting that video on my blog as soon as I upload it!
And last but not least, here is Pikachu! The little bird in our house! She likes to sit on my bed, and just stare at me!
I'm working on cooking up some super yummy holiday recipes! I went to Trader Joe's today and I picked up some small things! I'm going to be cooking up some really good stuff! So stayed tuned for holiday recipes!

Random Wednesday post

Hi everyone! So lately, I've been kind of busy. But over the past couple of weeks, I've acquired a lot of different pictures that I haven't uploaded at all. Not even on facebook! So I decided I would upload some of them here!

These first two pictures were taken I think in October, and we went to little Tokyo, to look for costumes for halloween. And this is what we saw when we were leaving! The buildings were covered by the clouds! I thought this was a cool picture!

And lately, I've been addicted to making food! So I made a quick turkey covered in gravy sandwich with red onions! It was sandwiched between an english muffin! And it was so good! I really love cooking!

Next up, I've been trying to experiment with nail polish colors, and this one is MAC's matte nail polish in Black Enough. With flash:
Without flash:
And I tried out Michelle Phan's Lolita style tutorial. Even though it didn't look like her's as much! Lol.
And the other day a couple friends from high school, and I met up to go eat some sushi! We went to a local sushi place. I don't have any pictures of any of the food, since when it came, we dug in! So yummy! :) Next time, I will take lots of pictures of the food! I always forget to! D'oh!
And last but not least! Here is my Secret Santa package from Sheila's secret santa event! I'm not allowed to open it till Christmas! But I've been super tempted! Haha. I've put it away in the corner of my room, till Christmas comes around!
That's it for my random weekly post! I will try to do these once a week!
By the way, tomorrow I will launching a new giveaway! So keep your eyes open for that! Thanks for stopping by! :)

Room/Closet Tour? New items

Hi everyone! I've been asked on youtube a couple of times to do a room tour/closet tour. And I was wondering if any of you guys would like that as well? I wouldn't just post a video on here, I would post pictures and show you guys tips on how to keep your closet and room organized. Let me know in the comment section below!

So I went to Target the day after the mulberry collection debuted, and I picked up this purse! I've used it a couple times, and it's a pretty big purse!

Yeah, you can see the messy stuff in my purse! Haha.
My favorite part of my room now! I made the jewelry tree out of a couple branches, and I've put a lot of my jewelry on there!

Picture of me at graduation and a picture of me and my boyfriend.
With flash.

 My ring collection! :)
I went to the outlets in September, and Juicy Couture was having a awesome sale, which was basically 40% off any item. And I got these gorgeous rings for $20! What a steal! :D
Recently, I've been painting my nails like crazy. Since I'm not working anymore, there's no restrictions on what I can paint my nails! My nails in Essie's nail polish!
This is the color I have on my nails right now! I love glitter polish!
My bird Pikachu landed on my picture frame. What a silly bird! She makes me laugh!
And a couple items, I picked up from the OC marketplace recently! I just had to pick up NYX's jumbo eye pencil in milk, it makes an amazing highlight color, and it blends really easily! And I picked up a NYX eyebrow pencil because they were super cheap!
That's all for now! I have a lot of new tutorials coming up, I'm just not sure how I'm suppose to post them up. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! :)

I'm back to my spending ways!

Hi everyone! So how was everyone's weekends? Mines was alright. I hung out with a couple friends, we went to this super yummy shaved ice place, called Mochilato! Thanks to Jeanne, for letting us know about that place, and for meeting up with us! :)

Mochilato

NO WEBSITE! O_O

Omg this shaved ice was soooo good! It's not as big as Guppy's but we got the second to smallest size. I finished a good majority of it! I love mochi and red bean. The boyfriend didn't like it so much. But I really like it! It was so crazy looking that I had to take several pictures just to get all the angles! But it was sooooo good! I will definitely have to come back here!

Anyway, so I did a video this weekend. I actually had planned on doing 2 more, but I didn't get those edited out in time. :(

But it's okay, because honestly, I'm going to try really hard to get those videos out this coming weekend! So if you guys are wondering why my makeup is the same in the videos, and why I'm wearing the same clothes, well at least you guys know now! Haha.

So this is a quick look at the video. I didn't take pictures of everything I bought because I didn't remember to, but this is a majority of what I bought. If you guys are wondering why the ELF palette is crossed out, it's because I returned it. I didn't like the pigmentation in the palette. It was way too light, and I couldn't get the colors to show up when I swatched it. So I returned it. I'm hoping to get the smokey eye palette when it comes back to my local Target.
I really needed a smaller brow comb and brush. Mines is really long, so of course I couldn't see myself taking that around and traveling with it, so I picked up the ELF brow comb and brush!
I picked up 3 ELF $1 eyeshadow quads, and I have to say, I'm really loving these quads. They are pretty nice, and pigmented. I'm planning on doing a tutorial on these really soon! The one below is in Drama! It's a very nice smokey eye quad!
This quad is in butternut, this quad is a really simple neutral eyeshadow quad. I'm totally loving this quad!
I bought this quad in the hopes of doing Holly Ann AeRee's makeup look from her video, but for some reason the pink doesn't show up on my dark skin as much. But it's alright, because I found a great way to layer the colors onto my eyes.
And I purchased these bottles for our trip to Vegas, in September!
And this is the nail color I got from Forever21, this weekend! It's a pretty mint green color. I think this color leans more towards green than blue. And it's really similar to my sinful colors color in Mint Apple with less shimmer!
And the video:

Anyway, so I'm going to go to Vegas in September! I'm super excited, because unlike the last couple of times we've went to Vegas, we only stay for 2 nights, and 3 days, but this time we are staying for 4 nights, and 4 days! It should be pretty good! I've got my club gear all lined up and ready to go! Haha.

Get ready for my haul from the Vegas CCO (Cosmetic Company Outlet)! By the way, if you guys don't know about the Vegas CCO, it's an actual store, as opposed to the small area in Saks 5th Avenue here in California! So it's definitely worth checking out if any of you guys are ever out there! :)

Well I'm off to clean, and will update you guys soon! :D

FOTD, NOTD, and Swatches!

Hi everyone! How was your week? Mines was alright. I filled my week with work, work and more work! Haha.
So last weekend, my boyfriend and I went to a friend's house for their child's birthday party! We ate lots of tacos, and my boyfriend randomly ended up in the bounce house with about 10 kids jumping on him! He was scared when this big kid slapped him on the shoulder! But it was really fun nevertheless! So here are some post pictures of my makeup.

Top from forever21. Necklace from D<3T Charms, and bracelet from forever21. :)
Yes, I won that huge banana! He is the coolest banana ever!

At the party. My boyfriend chowing down on some awesome carne asada tacos!
Look at that food! Nom, nom, nom!
 I like his funny expressions!
This is what my nail of the day looked like! I love this glitter nail polish! It's very pretty!
What the tips of my nails looked like.
So this week I recieved a package from UPS. and I was like hmmmm... What could it be?? And so then I read the label in which it said where it came from, and guess what it is!!!
It is my very own Silk'n Sensepil! I won this hair removing device from facebook, in late April! I was super excited when it finally made it's way to my house! I thought maybe the UPS guy lost it, or something. I haven't used it yet, but I will let you guys know how it works out when I do use it!

So this past week, I've been purchasing some small items here and there. So the first thing I picked up is this NYX lipgloss in whipped. This is amazing lipgloss. It's not so sheer, and it lasts a while on my lips. I'm totally loving this lipgloss! And I got the gloss for a whopping $2.50! That is way cheaper than the NYX store online! :) The second thing my boyfriend bought for me is the Wet'n wild lipstick in Think Pink.

With flash.
 Without flash.
This is a swatch of think pink. I think it's an alright color. It seems kind of difficult to apply to my lips because the formula is really thick, and it's like this super pigmented pale pink. Also I don't like the container it comes in, it feels cheap, because it's plastic, and the lipstick has already started to hit the sides of the container. I think I like this lipstick better when I put a coat of lip gloss on it.
NYX's lip gloss in Whipped. It's a amazingly not so sheer color, that lasts long on my lips.
This is what NYX looks like on my lips.
Anyway, hope everyone is having a good weekend so far! This weekend, I'm going to party it up! I have some other posts and videos lined up, so please stay tuned for those! :D
