BornPrettyStore Blush!

Hey everyone! I know it's been a long time since my last official post, and I've been really busy since the last time I wrote on here, since March? Anyway, I just want to let everyone know, that I do have a lot of good news, and some bad news.

Bad news first, so I haven't been buying that much makeup lately. I just kind of stopped, because my makeup collection is already huge as it is, and I don't feel the need to purchase a ton of makeup anymore.

The good news? Well I've been buying more clothes lately, and I've been taking a lot of pictures with my new Panasonic Lumix GF-2. I recently bought the new camera, because my small sony point and shoot, had a little bit of water damage. It didn't affect the way the pictures were taken, but the screen, was bubbly. So I decided to splurge and get myself a new camera.

So let's get started shall we? So the first thing I want to talk to everyone about is bornprettystore.com! They sell a lot of nail art items, as well as makeup! I've done a review about them before, and I loved their products a lot, so I decided to do a post as opposed to the video I did last time for them.

I got a blush, and it's a pretty orange pink toned blush! This blush is in #016.
I love that they put the expiration date on their products, so you can see when you need to throw your cosmetics away.
 The blush is Korean.
 The ingredients in the blush.
What it looks like when swatched.
Look at how bright this blush is, it turned my brush into a bright orange color!

I love this blush! This is my first orange toned blush, and it looks amazing. Just a fair warning, when applying really bright blushes, you should always use a light hand, and then build up the intensity slowly.

So that's it for my quick review of this amazing blush. I'm probably going to be doing a look with this blush soon, so stayed tuned for that!

FTC: Product was sent to me for review purposes by a PR representative of the company.  All reviews are based on my honest opinion.  I was not paid to do this post nor am I affiliated with the company.

CCO Haul!

Hi everyone! So this past weekend, I went to the CCO to check out some MAC eyeshadows, because I only have a couple of them, and I really wanted some more! So here are some pictures of what I picked up:
 Cut to fit.
 Night manoeuves.
 Meet the Fleet.
Sorcery
and Chamomile. (Not sure what happened to the lighting in this picture.)
And I also picked up a pigment in Universal Mix. I don't understand why this pigment gets such a bad rap on MUA. I really loved the color! I think it's perfect for highlighting, and for the inner corner of your eyes.

Here are the swatches from left to right: Cut to fit, Night Manoeuvres, Meet the fleet, Sorcery, Chamomile, and universal mix.
This is me trying to get a better picture of universal mix. Haha, fail!
And this week, I got my package from Kathy! I bought the MAC venomous villains mineralized eyeshadows from her! Thanks for the MAC eyeshadows Kathy! And thanks for the extras! I will be sending you something real soon! :)
Left to right: She who dares, my dark magic.
Look how big these eyeshadows are compared to regular mineralized eyeshadows! Left to right: She who dares, Gilt by Association.
This is how they look when swatched.
I decided that I wouldn't spend any more money on makeup until IMATS. This will help me save up money for buying makeup at IMATS. I've always wanted to try the OCC lip tars, so this year, I'm going to go to IMATS, and purchase a lot of makeup! Haha. Anyone wants to try this makeup ban with me? :)

My second haul from CVS! And my gift card giveaway winner! :)

Hi everyone! I hope everyone had a good new years eve! I went clubbing with a couple of our friends, but it was kind of crappy, because we were suppose to be on guest list, but we ended up not being on guest list. Long story short, my boyfriend ended up paying $160 dollars for two of us. So that was the crappy part. But at least we got to celebrate in style!

My makeup from NYE! I did my own makeup from my tutorial, but I changed a couple things about it. If any of you girls want to see how I did it, just let me know! :)
Anyway, so I went back to CVS yesterday! Because I didn't realize that some of the Rimmel London lipsticks were on sale. So I picked up a ton of them today! I basically went to 3 different CVS's because there are 3 located in my area, and I wanted to see what else I could pick up!

I also picked up a couple Revlon lipsticks as well! I basically got backups of almost everything! Because they were so cheap, and I hate it when I buy something and they discontinue it! So of course, I picked up a lot of backups! (I hate buying cosmetics from ebay)

From left to right: Air Fairy, Pink blush, Pink champagne, and passion. (I'm really loving pink blush and air fairy together on my lips! It's the perfect nude pink!)
Pink champagne, and passion up close.
Air fairy, and pink blush up close.
Swatched from left to right: Air Fairy, Pink blush, Pink champagne, and passion.

I also picked up Rimmel's spotlight beige. It looks like the perfect dark nude color!
 Up close and personal!
I also picked up one of Revlon's matte lipsticks in mauve it over! The packaging looks really nice!
 Up close.
And then I picked up two of Revlon's Colorburst lipsticks!
Left to right: Liliac and Mauve.

And since I've never tried any of Revlon's pearl lipsticks, I only picked up one of twinkled pink. It looks nice, but let's see how it does when applied to my lips.

And of course I had no idea that firecracker was on sale! So I had to pick up one of these babies as well! Since I almost have the entire collection, except for pink pop! That's next on my list! :)

When I was there, I also picked up a powder. Because as much as I love my P&J powder, it has shimmer, and sometimes, I feel like I don't want shimmer, and sparkle, so I think this powder would be great for my face. They also had one with shimmer, but since I have P&J's already, I didn't see it necessary to pick up one of those.
On the back. The only problem, I have with the almay powder, is the bulkiness of the packaging. I wish it were smaller. I didn't realize that I couldn't take the powder out of the box!
I also picked up a sally hansen cream blush, for those days, that I want to apply a darker color to my cheeks/lips!
 Back of the packaging.
When swatched on my arm. It's actually a lot prettier than the picture below! It's a nice dark pink. I don't know why, but my camera makes the blush look brown! :(

I was only able to pick up only one of Rimmel's lipsticks in Pink champagne, there were no other ones left. That makes me kind of sad. :( But it's okay, because I did pick up 5 of Pink blush! I also picked up 3 Air Fairy, and 2 extras of spotlight beige!

From Revlon, I only picked up one backup, and that was Mauve it over, and the only reason I picked up an extra of that one, was because I hadn't realized I had already bought it from another CVS. Yes, I can get a little makeup crazy!

Anyway, so what you girls have been waiting for, for the past 3 weeks! (Is it 3 weeks?? I can't remember!!!) My giveaway winner for a giftcard of their choice! So I basically had 158 unique entries, basically from tweeting, to blogging, to facebook! So I went to random.org, and the winner is (drum roll please!):

So yay to fruity lashes! I will be emailing you shortly! :) If you didn't win this time around, don't fret, I will be having another giveaway in the next couple of days!

New purple tutorial!

Hi everyone! So I knew today I wanted to film another tutorial! The reason being was because I was kind of in the mood. I had to get up early to go to work again. But I wasn't as tired today! I think it was because I got 7 hours of sleep, as opposed to 5 hours the other night! Haha. Anyway, so I wanted to show you guys this purple smoky eye look, that I did!

So I haven't been doing much lately. Just working. But I wanted to show you guys a little preview of the haul video, I will be filming tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the linear intense, since I bought the wet n wild one, and that one works perfectly, and it's super dark. I've watched reviews about the linear intense, and some people said that it's not that dark at all.

But look at the Maybelline blush at the bottom. That blush is absolute crap! The pigmentation is not even there. If anything this shouldn't even be called a blush! I think it comes out more like a highlight!
I did swatches so you guys could see how sheer this blush is! It's horrible! But I don't want to return it, because I don't want to seem like a mean bitch.
This is what it looks like when swatched on my finger. Absolute crap! Ugh... Well I got the blushes for like $2.50. They are originally $6.00! So that's good. At least, I didn't spend a lot of money on stuff that I don't like!
The only other product I've used is the wet n wild liquid eyeliner, and it's very good! It's dark, and it glides smoothly. I just wish the opening of the liquid was smaller, sometimes I feel like I get too much product out. If you guys want a review of any of the products please let me know! :)

There is only 1 day left for my giveaway! Winner will be announced later this week! :)

My Pretty Sample Bag

Hi everyone! So a couple days ago I got in My Pretty Sample Bag! Everything in there is love! And what I mean by Love, is that I honestly love everything in there! Thank you Linda!

I got three eyeshadows, and they came with cards with where I can purchase them if I want more.
I also got the beauty so clean sanitizer spray and wipes, and some Avon samples.
The eyeshadows all together. These two are: Orglamix, and Glamour Doll.
And these two are everyday mineral eye shadows.
And these are swatches of the shadows, from left to right: Orglamix, Glamour Doll, and Everyday Minerals purple, and green.
The reason why I got the Pretty Sample Bag was because there was a promo in which if you buy one you can get one free. Check out the details at Linda's Blog!

I want to say, I love everything in this bag! It's all very pretty, and I'm in love with the everyday minerals green shadow, it's like this mint green color, which by the way I LOVE! I love everything mint green, so of course I loved that color!
