Nivea Whitening Deodorant

I have a quick update for you guys today! I recently purchased the Nivea Whitening deodorant. I had been curious about this for some time, seeing as how if you shave regularly your armpits will turn dark. I had heard from  a friend that if you stop shaving then the darkness goes away. And since I'm still debating if I want to get the laser hair removal, but I'm not quite there yet, I decided to give these a try.
These are from Thailand, so the writing is mostly in Thai.

When I peeled back the label, I saw that there was an ingredient list is in English.
I will be doing a review of the this product in the next month. After I try this out for a bit.

Whitening Products

So in case anyone was wondering, I want to get lighter before I get darker this summer! The reason being is because I always found the sun unbearable in Southern California during the summer. Not saying that I don't like the sunny weather. I just don't like being so tanned up.

So to make this post quick and short, I'm going to introduce you to some of the whitening products I have been using for the last couple of months or so.

From left to right: Softymo super white cleanser. Kose moisture mild white cream, Skinfood tomato whitening cream, and Paul & Joe whitening serum.
The Softymo super white cleanser I just got this week from Jessica. She gave it to me to try it out, since she said that it makes her husband's skin get very white. I've been trying it out, and my face does look slightly lighter. Not sure if it is because of this, or maybe a combination of the products I have been using.

This cleanser is very very creamy. It has a very rich formula, and it doesn't foam up. So if you don't like that, this might not be for you. But as far as I use it, I usually use this cleanser first, and then I will top it off with my other cleanser. I switch it up from morning to night. In the morning, I usually use my Clean & Clear cleaner, and at night I use my bareminerals cleanser.
The next 2 items are creams (I'm sorry about the darkness of the pictures. I didn't want the flash to go off, it would have made my pictures really really bright).

The Skinfood cream I've hit pan on, so there is no more of this cream anymore. As far as I can tell, this cream smells very very good. It does not smell like tomatoes at all. It has a water like consistence, but it's nice nevertheless. I found out the hard way that you should not apply this cream right after you get out of the shower, if you do, this cream will peel on your skin. It will start to shred.

The other one, the Kose white cream, is pretty good as well. It is slightly thicker and the smell is decent. I've had this bottle for the last 2 years, and I'm finally finishing up on this! I'm super excited to be finishing up on this product. This product has whitened my skin, but very little. It might be because I'm more tanned. I think if you were lighter, than maybe this product would work better for you.
The last product I have is from Apothica.com. I actually received a gift certificate from Apothica.com, and I decided to spend it on the Paul & Joe Whitening Serum.

The bottle is very pretty no? I think it's very elegant. Now for the interesting parts: The serum has a particular scent to it. Some might not like it. Honestly? It smells like orange cleaner to me. But that doesn't make it bad for me. I actually really like oranges. I just got this in this week, so I've been trying it out for the last five days. Now like I said before for the cleanser, I'm not sure if I'm getting lighter from this or from the cleanser. I'm going to keep using this product, and I will keep you guys updated, with my new whitening routine.

My top favorite skincare products

Hi everyone! I just want to inform everyone that I bought a domain for this blog! Whoohoo!!! :D

So if you can please direct any links to http://denysiayu.com!

Anyway, so just to let everyone know, I haven't been doing much lately. I always say that don't I? Haha. Sorry, but I really haven't been up to anything! So on Tuesday I found out that for our class's ceremony was completely messed up! Our teacher booked the wrong date for the venue, so of course I had to come in and rescue the day. Haha. Not really. But I let my officers know that there was a different place that we could do our ceremony at. And so we went to check it out on Tuesday and everyone loved it, so I'm hoping that we will be able to do it there!

Anyway, here is a quick intro to my favorite skincare products. I've been asked to do skincare for a while, but I wasn't sure what I liked for a while, because I'm extremely picky when it comes to skincare! The reason why I’m so picky, is because I’m allergic to a lot of ingredients listed in a lot of skincare products.
Anyway, so here is a picture of my top 5 favorite skincare products of all time:

1. Lush Coalface cleanser: This cleanser is the best cleanser I've ever used! It helps fight my acne, and it has a nice smell to it. Some people I know, don't like the smell, but I personally like it. It lathers up gray. The only problem I have with this, is that it's in a bar like form, which I don't really like. But honestly, it's a really nice cleanser!

2. Kiehl's Cucumber Herbal Alcohol Free toner: I've had a love/hate relationship with this toner, but now I'm back to loving it. I didn't like the way the toner was in the bottle before, so I stuck it into my own little spray bottle! And I like it this way! The toner stings a little when it's applied, but I think that just means that it's working!

3. Aveeno Lotion: This lotion is the best for dry, flaky skin! My neck and my face use to be super dry, until my mom bought this lotion for me! And the good thing about this lotion, is that it keeps your skin moisturized for 24 hours!

4. Lush Dream Cream Lotion: I don't rub this lotion all over my body or face, because in the ingredients it states that it has cocoa butter in it, which sucks for me, because I'm allergic to cocoa butter! But I still really love this lotion for my eczema scars!

5. Kiehl's creamy eye treatment: I love this eye cream! It doesn't get into my eyes and this cream actually doesn't dry up my eyes whatsoever!

I made a video for you guys, talking about the products I've mentioned in this post:

And something really interesting happened yesterday. So my boyfriend and I went to Walmart to look at external drives, and then we wandered into the camera section, and they have camcorders there as well. And he told me, that if I wanted, he would buy me a camcorder with a remote for my birthday if I wanted. And of course I was like, heck yeah! Haha.

Taiwan & Lush Haul!

Hi everyone! I want to welcome all the new followers! And I want to say HI to my previous readers!

So as some you guys know, I actually got my package in from my cousin last week, but I was really busy with school, so I never got the chance to post it up, and show you guys what I got! But I didn't have school today so I decided to show you guys what I got:

RMK 2008 Christmas Palette. My cousin got this for herself, but she ended up never using it, so she gave it to me.
It comes with 1 mascara, 1 lipgloss, 4 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, 1 applicator, and 1 brush.
And then when you pull it out from below you get more items! There is a powder foundation, a sponge, and a brush for the blush!
She also got me the Coffret D'or Gel Foundation.
It comes with a spatula.
And the color is OC-D! Which is perfect for my skin tone.
This is the extra one she sent me. I think I'm going to sell this one.
The Coffret D'or 2009 Christmas Palette.
What it looks like inside.
The eyeshadows.
And the lip colors!
Coffret D'or 2010 palette in 04.
The colors are really pretty! I don't want to use it yet!
Lunasol Lip Essence.
What the bottle looks like.
And here is the video of what everything looked like!

And yesterday I went back to Lush with my friend Christine! And I picked up a ton of stuff! Right now all I'm doing is smelling everything. Everything there smells AMAZING! When I first walk in there, the scents overwhelmed me, but as I started walking around, I started to realize that everything there has different scents, and you just have to smell everything.

Some items I picked up: BB seaweed Facial! This thing smells like the ocean!
Close up of the BB seaweed!
Sugar Scrub Sugar Scrub. This smells like clean laundry and the ocean.
Tea tree toner. Your suppose to fill a bowl with hot water, drop the toner into the water, and put a towel over your head and put your head over the bowl. The sales lady told me that you can only use the water for maybe 2 or 3 more times after the first time.
Magic Mushroom Bubble bar! I'm really loving this bubble bar! It smells like strawberry!
Amandopondo Bubble Bar. This smells like Roses.
AvoBath Bath Bomb. I love anything cirtus scented, so of course I had to pick this up!
Sakura Bath Bomb. This smells like Cherry Blossoms! :)
This is a slice of the coalface cleanser. I used this today, that's why the right hand side looks like I chopped it off. I just cut off a little piece, and rubbed it around on my face.
And this is a sample of the dream cream, because I've heard a lot of good reviews about it, and it's suppose to be good for eczema.
And here is the video that I did about Lush!
By the way, if you guys didn't know already, I have a formspring on my sidebar, so please feel free to ask me any random questions!

And I bought a new camera today! YAY! I got a canon camera! It should be coming in sometime next week, so get ready for better camera quality!

Sasa Haul!

Hey everyone! Sorry I didn't post twice last week. I was busy making videos, and school was a little crazy. But now that I have school pretty much set, I'm going to do a post about some items that I got in late last week.

So I know a lot of you guys out there, know about Sasa, and their awesome Silk Whitia masks. And I've been meaning to try them out, but I wasn't sure I wanted to until a couple weeks ago, when Mona posted that she bought a ton of masks from Sasa. So of course I had to check it out. Turns out that they give free shipping if you order $75 or more, and of course I ordered $75 EXACTLY! Haha.

These were all the masks I purchased.
My Silk Whitia whitening mask. This is suppose to be a lavender whitening mask.
And this is what made my purchase even to $75! These masks smell very good.
I've only tried the Silk Whitia Anti-Oxidation Whitening mask so far, and I gotta say, it's really nice! I've also tried the De Herbs mask as well.

This past weekend, I went to hang out with Kalmo! And she was awesome and sweet! I actually met up with Amynaree and Kalmo and we went shopping for a bit. She gave me some masks to try out, and the lip cream! Thank you Kalmo!
And while we went shopping, there was a Lush there, and knowing me I cannot resist! Haha. The only reason why I never get to go to Lush is because my boyfriend gets all allergic reactions when we go in there. But it was great being able to go in there, check out the store. In the end I left with a couple of items that I'm pleased with!

This is the Honey Bee Bath Bomb! And it smells like Honey and Lemon! I love this scent!
And I also picked up this Volcano Foot mask, and it is amazing! It smells like cinnamon, and it has a thick feeling to it. This is what it looks like, when I put it on my hand. I know it's for feet, but I wanted to show you guys how it looked like on my hand, as opposed to my feet!
And these are some videos that I've done in the last couple of days. The first one I did, was this video in which I walked around the brand new forever21 at my local mall, and I LOVE IT! Everything is nice and big there!

And this is my Hits and Misses for January

Hope everyone has an awesome week! The next post, I'm going to post about the items I got from my cousin! :D

Skin food review

Hi everyone! I want to do a review on two of my newly acquired skin products that I use everyday. I don't usually use everything I have simply because it would take me probably around 20 minutes to get ready, and I don't have that much time to do all that especially if I have school in the morning. I usually wake up about an hour before school starts, and I take a shower, eat breakfast and then I'm out of the house. I don't even wear makeup at school! So this is really good for me if I actually put something on my skin!

The first thing I want to tell you guys about is this Skin food peach sake pore emulsion that I bought a couple weeks ago. I really love this stuff, because it simply makes my skin feel extremely soft, and it gives my skin a nice type of glow. I'm not sure if any one else who has tried it gets a glow, but I feel like I do! And the good thing about this, is that ever since I've started using it I've seen a decrease in acne on my face. Which is always a good thing!
The second thing I purchased was the skin food peach sake pore serum, and this stuff, I think is basically the same as the emulsion. I don't really see the difference in the two, except for the fact that the serum is thicker than the emulsion. Which as the emulsion is a little more watery, the serum is like a thick white substance, that has a pump.
I think I might purchase more of skin food items as time goes on, because they have so many very nice looking items. The line I am currently looking at is the tomato whitening line, which looks really nice!

By the way, I just posted my blog sale on my other blog at Shop Couture! Check it out! :)

Reviews on Japanese Products

If you didn't already know, I've been super excited about the Anna Sui line for Target. It should be coming out September 13th! So I've been looking forward to it, since I found about it. Check out some of the styles in my older post!

Anyway, like I said, I'm going to do a small review for some items, that I've been using, and that I love! (The items, that I didn't really like, will be in another post!) These are two items that I like right now, hope you guys enjoy! No pictures from my camera because my boyfriend has my camera in his car, and I'm not sure when I'm going to be getting it back.

What: Kose Cosmeport moisture mild white cream
When: purchased a little over a month ago
Where: At Takashima in Rowland Heights
How: This is a pretty good cream. I bought it because I thought it could help me whiten my skin. It has evened out my skin a little. I don't use it all the time, because sometimes I forget to use it.
Cons: This product is a little small, and for the price, I probably wouldn't buy this as often. I try to use as little as possible. I believe this cost around $14 USD.

What: Samourai Woman shampoo
When: purchased a little over a month ago
Where: At Takashima in Rowland Heights
How: This shampoo is amazing! It smells like roses, and peaches! And it makes my hair feel nice and fluffy afterwards. The good thing about this product is that it comes in a pump bottle form, so it's a lot easier to dispense. It's not like a lot of American brand shampoos, where you have to pick up the bottle and turn it upside down, and dispense!
Cons: Probably just the price. But at $14 USD, it's not that bad! Compared to other brands, this one is really good!

games, and shopping

Hello all my readers! I left my camera in my boyfriend's car, so no pictures for you guys today! I know, it sucks am I right?

Anyway, I got this kit online at hautelook, a couple of weeks ago, and it finally shipped it. Can anyone say yay? It looks something like this, but mines is a little different. This kit's retail value is $75, and Sephora sells it for $45, and I got it for $20. Good deal? No, it's a great deal!
Anyway, I haven't even used it yet, because I've been hanging out with the boyfriend and trying to hang out with friends, before school gets all crazy on me. Anyway, yesterday I was suppose to hang out with a couple friends at a bonfire, but it didn't happen. :( But this coming weekend, I'm going to hang out with Jessica again! YAY! Haha. Anyway, other than that, my life and school has been kind of crazy.

Does anyone know how to use the Jill Stuart perfumed body powder? I tried to put it on me a couple of days ago, but nothing happened! Haha. Maybe I'm doing it wrong??

So I've been playing this game for the last week or so. I downloaded it on Tuesday, and it's kind of addicting. It's called Luna Online, and you can download it for free on gpotato.com. It was pretty funny because my boyfriend told me the other day, "You play so much lunasol! Whats wrong with you?" And I had to tell him that Lunasol is actually a japanese makeup, and Luna Online is a game!

My character Marile. I'm pushing to name our baby that, whenever we have kids.
And my big axe! It's bigger than her! This is the first game, I've played in a long time, and I have to say, I really like it! It's actually pretty fun. And before I forget, thank you Jessica Wang for getting me addicted to this game!

Anyway, I promise more small posts throughout the week! I'm going to do some reviews later this week! *GASP!* I know huh? Since I've never done a review on here yet! Haha. But I will do some reviews later, maybe tomorrow? After I run around and finish all my errands!

Don't forget to enter my giveaway! I think there are only a couple more weeks left! :)
