Whitening Products

So in case anyone was wondering, I want to get lighter before I get darker this summer! The reason being is because I always found the sun unbearable in Southern California during the summer. Not saying that I don't like the sunny weather. I just don't like being so tanned up.

So to make this post quick and short, I'm going to introduce you to some of the whitening products I have been using for the last couple of months or so.

From left to right: Softymo super white cleanser. Kose moisture mild white cream, Skinfood tomato whitening cream, and Paul & Joe whitening serum.
The Softymo super white cleanser I just got this week from Jessica. She gave it to me to try it out, since she said that it makes her husband's skin get very white. I've been trying it out, and my face does look slightly lighter. Not sure if it is because of this, or maybe a combination of the products I have been using.

This cleanser is very very creamy. It has a very rich formula, and it doesn't foam up. So if you don't like that, this might not be for you. But as far as I use it, I usually use this cleanser first, and then I will top it off with my other cleanser. I switch it up from morning to night. In the morning, I usually use my Clean & Clear cleaner, and at night I use my bareminerals cleanser.
The next 2 items are creams (I'm sorry about the darkness of the pictures. I didn't want the flash to go off, it would have made my pictures really really bright).

The Skinfood cream I've hit pan on, so there is no more of this cream anymore. As far as I can tell, this cream smells very very good. It does not smell like tomatoes at all. It has a water like consistence, but it's nice nevertheless. I found out the hard way that you should not apply this cream right after you get out of the shower, if you do, this cream will peel on your skin. It will start to shred.

The other one, the Kose white cream, is pretty good as well. It is slightly thicker and the smell is decent. I've had this bottle for the last 2 years, and I'm finally finishing up on this! I'm super excited to be finishing up on this product. This product has whitened my skin, but very little. It might be because I'm more tanned. I think if you were lighter, than maybe this product would work better for you.
The last product I have is from Apothica.com. I actually received a gift certificate from Apothica.com, and I decided to spend it on the Paul & Joe Whitening Serum.

The bottle is very pretty no? I think it's very elegant. Now for the interesting parts: The serum has a particular scent to it. Some might not like it. Honestly? It smells like orange cleaner to me. But that doesn't make it bad for me. I actually really like oranges. I just got this in this week, so I've been trying it out for the last five days. Now like I said before for the cleanser, I'm not sure if I'm getting lighter from this or from the cleanser. I'm going to keep using this product, and I will keep you guys updated, with my new whitening routine.

I'm back!

Hi everyone! Sorry it took me until monday to post! I was with my boyfriend this entire weekend, and I was planning on posting on Saturday, but I fell asleep and I didn't get up till 3PM. And by that time, I had to go to a party, and wrap a present, and just crazy stuff! Haha. Anyway, I'm going to post pictures of my Paul & Joe items, that I got in the mail this weekend, and today! YAY!

I don't think I'm going to be purchasing anything anytime soon, I'm now officially broke! And I still have my phone bill and credit cards to pay off! So I'm thinking no more spending crazy money until maybe september? Or October. What I mean by crazy money is no more $100 purchases! Until all my bills get paid off! Haha.

So the first thing I got in Saturday was this Paul & Joe creamy powder foundation in 50. Because I'm dark! Haha. And this lipstick by P&J.
What the foundation and lipstick looks like when it's open. I love love love, this dark red color of the lipstick. I haven't used it yet though, because I don't want to mess up my new lipstick! On sunday the boyfriend and I went to San Gabriel to pick up some P&J stuff. More? I know, I just love love love their stuff!
The address where I purchased this stuff from:
Miracle Times America
227 W. Valley Blvd, Suite No. 238-C San Gabriel, CA 91776
TEL : 626-458-1800
I picked up this liquid foundation in 30, and this P&J lipgloss in 10.
After that, we went to Takashima and I picked up a couple of cute hello kitty items! If you want to check out Takashima, you can always check out their website: http://www.etakashimaya.com.I also picked up these mixed berry masks! And I used them already, and they smell wonderful!
I don't really know what these are suppose to do for you, but they are nice to have! :)I also picked up some whitening products, and Samourai woman's shampoo. The shampoo smells very nice. Reviews of the whitening lotions will be up probably in 2 to 3 weeks. I need to see if they actually work.
And after that, we went to this plaza in Irvine, because my boyfriend's younger brother said that's where all the UCI kids go to nowadays. And my boyfriend just had to check out this place called 85 c degrees. And when I walked into that place, I didn't see anything special about it, because you could purchase everything at 99 Ranch. I think it was kind of a rip off for the price that they were selling pastries for. Anyway, we walked around, and we went into this supermarket called H Mart, and they had this little shop, and they were selling these masks, and they were 10 for $10, so of course I had to purchase some. They ran out of the whitening masks, so I asked the lady there if any of their other masks whiten, and she said the protein one, and the potato one, so I picked up a couple extra of those ones. Last but not least, I finally got my P&J shipment from Singapore! And everything is super pretty! I got 2 shadows, one lipstick, one tiny foundation, one big powder foundation, and blotting papers.

So tomorrow, I'm going to do the review on the Coffret D'or palette, and I will be talking about my 120 eyeshadow palette that came in broken! :( I was kind of really bummed about it, but the seller told me that they would refund me back my money and I would be able to keep the palette. I think I'm going to purchase another one very soon.
